Weekly Menu Planner

How many of you plan your weekly menus? I used to just go with whatever we had in the house, but realized that I was running to the store several times a week to pick up random ingredients, such as a fresh herb, or I would buy a bag of salad only to realize that we have three bags at home already. I save money by planning my weekly meals because I can go through the house and plan meals around what we already have or whatever is on sale that week.
Usually my weekly menus end up on a post-it on the fridge. Not anymore!
This project idea came from my sister-in-law, Ana Lee, but it is so easy I had to share. All you need is thick stickers, called "Thickers" (love it!), a 12x12-inch scrapbook page of your choosing, and a 12x12-inch frame. By the way, I found all of items at Hobby Lobby and paid $10 for everything after using a 40%-off-one-item coupon.
Using the Thickers, spell out "menu" at the top center. See, easy peasy!
Place letters down the side for each day of the week. Maybe add a cute little star!
And frame it up! All done! It took me all of five minutes to complete.
Because it's behind glass, you can wipe it clean each week and create a new menu. AH! So easy! I love it! And notice that cute little "souffle" mentioned there? Coming later this week!
